The Sr. Staff Data Migration Engineer serves as a specialized technical leader directing complex customer data conversion initiatives across digital banking implementations, mergers, and enterprise onboarding programs. This role involves leading large-scale coordination efforts across Implementation, Technical Consulting, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to align migration strategies and mitigate operational risks. You will build scalable migration frameworks, validation methodologies, and reconciliation processes while providing thought leadership on banking data transformation practices. Key responsibilities include resolving critical migration escalations, guiding forecasting, and mentoring senior engineers. The position requires deep expertise in migration architecture, banking data ecosystems, and operational transformation. Direct the organization’s most complex and strategic enterprise-scale customer data conversion initiatives.
Serve as the senior migration advisor for executive customer stakeholders to guide strategic conversion planning.
Develop scalable migration frameworks, validation methodologies, and reconciliation processes to improve delivery consistency.
Lead resolution efforts for critical migration escalations by analyzing complex data conversion failures and system dependencies.
Guide migration forecasting, operational capacity planning, and portfolio oversight to support scalable growth.
Drive operational transformation by leading process modernization, automation strategy, and workflow redesign efforts.
Mentor senior migration engineers and technical implementation teams on strategic planning and troubleshooting methodologies.

What we're looking for
Must have 10–15 years of experience leading enterprise data migration programs, banking systems conversion, or strategic customer onboarding in SaaS or fintech.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for full-time employment.
Must have deep expertise in enterprise data migration architecture, banking systems conversion, and operational transformation methodologies.
Must have strong knowledge of banking data ecosystems, migration governance, reconciliation methodologies, and implementation delivery operations.
Must possess exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across executive, technical, operational, and customer audiences.
Must have experience developing enterprise migration reporting frameworks, operational standards, validation practices, and governance methodologies.
Experience supporting enterprise fintech, SaaS, or digital banking migration portfolios (preferred).
