The Sr. Specialist, Field Engineer-VAMPIRE UAE serves as a field representative for the Products division, supporting hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for complex integrated network systems. Working autonomously on complex assignments, this individual contributor performs on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for cUAS systems. Key responsibilities include conducting scenario-based, developmental, and operational testing, providing end-user training, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve technical issues. The role requires expertise in cUAS technologies, diagnostic tools, military standards, and technical documentation. Candidates must be able to validate software features and may utilize skills related to radar, electronic warfare, or surveillance systems. The position operates within the defense technology domain, specifically addressing the integration and operational performance of counter-unmanned aircraft systems in sensitive environments.
Provide on-site support for the installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cUAS systems.
Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Deliver comprehensive training to end-users and operators on cUAS equipment use and maintenance.
Support hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting on complex integrated network systems.
Execute scenario-based, developmental, and operational testing programs at company and customer locations.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert representing customer requirements in the Agile/Scrum software development cycle.
Resolve complex technical issues in coordination with engineering and support teams.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
Must have 3+ years of experience with cUAS technologies, diagnostic tools, military standards, and software test case development.
Must have experience troubleshooting technical and/or software products.
Must be able to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or surveillance systems (preferred).
Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or Cisco CCNA/CCDA (preferred).
