JOB TITLE: Sr Solutions Engineer
The Sr Solutions Engineer joins the Institutional Division Technology Team to serve as a technical bridge between business strategy, enterprise architecture, and software delivery. This role involves transforming complex business capabilities into scalable software solutions by owning solution discovery and producing implementation-ready technical designs, user stories, data mappings, and API specifications. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications while ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards. Key technologies include Python, React, APIs, SQL, and integration technologies. You will specifically leverage AI-assisted engineering tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation. The work focuses on delivering high-quality applications across the Institutional Division’s portfolio by managing technical tradeoffs, improving reliability, and reducing technical debt.

Experience with Python, React, APIs, SQL, integration technologies, or comparable enterprise platforms.
Experience translating business capabilities into scalable technical solutions.
Experience partnering with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity.
Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, cloud-native development, integration patterns, and the software delivery lifecycle.
Experience within insurance or financial services (preferred); AWS Certifications (preferred); experience leading technical solution design across multiple teams (preferred).
