What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
5+ years of experience crafting backend architectures and delivering backend applications in a production environment.
Validated knowledge of operating large-scale high-availability backend services and JVM services.
Expertise in functional programming patterns and building RESTful services using Scala APIs.
Understanding of async programming models, threading/concurrency, and core computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
Experience operating within a Public Cloud Provider such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools like Jenkins and Docker.
Experience with messaging technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS), caching technologies, and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana).
