What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering; or High School Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience with Epic’s data model and architecture, including Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
Proficiency in SQL for analyzing and troubleshooting data within Epic environments.
Experience developing, reading, debugging, and maintaining MUMPS/Cache ObjectScript.
Demonstrated experience designing and developing apps that utilize cloud-based frameworks like Azure or Amazon AWS.
Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Experience developing and supporting custom APIs and system integrations.
Current or previously held Epic certification or accreditation in a relevant application or technical area.
5+ years of experience in the Software Engineering discipline (preferred).
Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR (preferred).
Experience using Maven (preferred).
Experience using Kafka or other queuing systems (preferred).
Must be currently authorized to work in the country where work will be performed.
