What you'll do

Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications for Cancer Diagnostics.
Troubleshoot complex software issues, investigate bugs, and fix problems independently.
Initiate and lead independent designs that influence the department's delivery and technical approach.
Make significant technical decisions regarding methods and techniques based on business strategy.
Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Communicate clear project plans, designs, and status updates to stakeholders.
Develop and sustain software systems following established design control processes and engineering best practices.
Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
Complete knowledge of software development design and development with relevant domain-specific skills.
Significant experience with object-oriented programming.
Experience with RESTful web services, Relational Databases (Postgres, SQL Server), and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Entity Framework).
Demonstrated experience designing and developing apps that utilize cloud-based frameworks like Azure or Amazon AWS.
Experience with Agile development tools including JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with STARLIMS custom code.
Authorized to work in country where work will be performed on a full or part-time basis.
