What you'll do

Architect, design, and roll out new features across a modular Java platform.
Design and develop scalable services for data and integration workflows.
Operate and maintain existing production platforms to ensure high availability.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and products into active projects.
Set technical standards and perform code and design reviews.
Mentor other engineers and lead software projects as a technical lead.
Design and ship high-scale, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-based distributed systems.

What we're looking for

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional work experience.
5+ years of proven professional software development experience (longer experience preferred).
2+ years of experience with Java, including concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in OOP principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns to implement testable and maintainable backend code.
Experience designing and shipping high-scale, high-performance, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-based distributed systems.
Experience with message-driven and event-driven architectures, including messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ and CQRS patterns.
Experience with caching strategies, in-memory data technologies, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with API design, search technologies, data lake architectures, and GenAI coding tools (preferred).
