What you'll do

Invent tools and processes to enable fast, accurate, and easy-to-use development and deployment systems.
Provide comprehensive software validation using virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms.
Perform monitoring and data analysis to support continuous integration and release systems.
Execute hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the entire Starlink software stack.
Create and manage core infrastructure including databases and software libraries.
Identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to increase developer velocity.
Manage the complete software life-cycle including development, testing, and production support.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline and 5+ years of software engineering experience.
7+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree.
Development experience in Python, Go, or C++.
DevOps, site reliability engineering, or systems administration experience (preferred).
Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and continuous monitoring (preferred).
Strong understanding of Bazel, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, or ArgoCD (preferred).
Fluency in Python, strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills (preferred).
U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
