What you'll do

Invent tools and processes to enable fast, accurate, and easy-to-use development and deployment systems.
Provide comprehensive software validation using virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms.
Perform monitoring and data analysis in support of continuous integration and release systems.
Execute hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the entire Starlink technology stack.
Create and manage core infrastructure including databases and software libraries.
Identify areas for improvement to create innovative solutions that increase developer velocity.
Manage the complete lifecycle of created software, including development, testing, and support.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
Development experience in Python, Go, or C++.
Experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or systems administration.
Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
Proficiency with technologies such as Bazel, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, or ArgoCD.
Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and managing large scale systems.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for export control authorizations.
