As a Sr Software Engineer - Backend, Consumer Structural Pricing, you will join the engineering team to architect innovative products and scalable systems for a global marketplace. What we're looking for
6+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading organization-wide engineering projects through all lifecycle stages including inception, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and operations.
Proven track record of overseeing incident management processes and directing on-call rotations.
Demonstrated ability to make sound engineering and business tradeoffs for long-term impact.
Experience building high-performance, scalable distributed systems at a 100M+ user scale (preferred).
Expertise in real-time streaming frameworks (Flink, Spark) and OLAP systems (Apache Pinot, Druid) (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in SQL and data warehousing with experience in the Big Data/Hadoop ecosystem (preferred).
