Senior Software Engineer, AI Native

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and develop high-performing RESTful API endpoints to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Build dynamic, responsive web applications in collaboration with front-end engineers to improve user experience.
• Define robust data models and manage relational or NoSQL databases while optimizing for performance and integrity.
• Direct and govern AI coding agents across the delivery lifecycle by setting context and enforcing quality standards.
• Design and maintain agent workflows using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot within an AI-native framework.
• Configure prompt engineering patterns and structured output schemas to align AI behavior with platform requirements.
• Trace, debug, and triage AI tool calls and prompt failures to ensure reliable automated delivery.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for application architecture, design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 5 years of professional experience working with medium to large complex code bases.
• Must have experience in full stack development.
• Must be proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Go, or Python.
• Must have experience in REST API design and implementation.
• Must be highly proficient in HTML, CSS, the JavaScript ecosystem, and frameworks like React, Angular, Ember, Jest, Babel, and TypeScript.
• Must demonstrate proficiency with AI-native coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as a primary delivery vehicle.
• Must possess working knowledge of prompt engineering, context management, and structured output patterns.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, or three years of experience in lieu of a degree.
