Join Adobe's Experience Platform team as a Senior Engineer, driving initiatives from conception to completion alongside architects. This role requires a deep understanding of NoSQL and RDBMS, as well as strong communication skills. You will collaborate across Adobe to optimize team efficiency and solve complex problems in the realm of data science and machine learning.
Design and implement major systems and components of the Adobe Experience Cloud data platform.
Build, test, and maintain critical parts of services to ensure they run at scale efficiently.
Provide technical guidance and feedback on features, architecture, and design strategies within multi-functional teams.
Extend Apache Spark codebase for analytical needs and optimize computational resources.
Develop and evolve engineering practices to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
What we're looking for
Proficiency in Apache Spark, Spark ML, and Spark internals with ability to extend Spark code base.
Experience developing, deploying highly available SaaS applications and services in public cloud environments.
Strong background in big-data engineering and cloud-based data warehouse technologies.
Deep understanding of No-SQL databases and RDBMS/data warehouses for data sharing and federation.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with 7+ years experience or MS/Ph.D. with 5+ years experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating design choices to multi-functional teams.
