What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for processing materials into finished products.
Develop inspection, test, and evaluation methods for production processes, equipment, and finished products.
Analyze production data, metrics, and defect trends to recommend updates to quality standards.
Perform audits and assign corrective actions while verifying rework and compliance with requirements.
Review drawings, documents, and instructions to verify compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
Evaluate defects against established standards and recommend appropriate dispositions.
Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with at least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
A Master's degree with at least 6 months of relevant experience is an acceptable educational alternative.
Knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and standards such as ISO 9001:2015, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, or EIA is preferred.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, technical documents, and work instructions for conformance to requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various quality, manufacturing, inspection, or measurement tools.
Ability to analyze production data, perform audits, and manage corrective actions to ensure compliance with standards.
