What you'll do

  • Define analytics instrumentation across Disney's DTC streaming products to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Convert product requirements and business questions into precise telemetry specifications including events, parameters, identifiers, and schemas.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of instrumentation from discovery and solution design through implementation and launch.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure telemetry is implemented correctly and aligns with platform standards.
  • Identify and resolve telemetry gaps by providing clearer requirements and driving technical collaboration.
  • Ensure high-quality behavioral signals reliably support experimentation frameworks, personalization, and downstream analytics.
  • Audit telemetry health using data to inform future instrumentation decisions and improve documentation.
  • Standardize telemetry schemas and patterns across product teams to improve consistency and scalability.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics instrumentation, telemetry, data product management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience designing event-based data models and telemetry schemas for web, mobile, or connected TV platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex business questions into precise, actionable technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • SQL fluency and proficiency working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional instrumentation delivery across product engineering and platform partners.
  • Experience in streaming, media, or direct-to-consumer subscription products is preferred.
  • Knowledge of privacy, consent, and identity considerations like GDPR and CCPA for first-party data collection.
