JOB TITLE: Sr Principal Network Engineer
The Sr Principal Network Engineer joins the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems team to support an enterprise-wide digital transformation for national defense products. What we're looking for
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 8 years of experience; OR 6 years of experience with a Master's degree; OR 4 years of experience with a STEM PhD degree.
An additional 4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor degree.
Experience with multi-vendor Segment Routing including SR-MPLS or SRv6 with automated traffic engineering and QoS.
Experience operating Cisco SDWAN and Juniper Session Smart Router fabrics including conductor failover.
Knowledge of high-performance fabrics including InfiniBand and RoCE or RDMA for AI and ML cluster networking.
Experience building and operating STIG automation including drift detection, reporting, and mitigation tooling.
Ability to construct and operate digital twin networks for pre-deployment validation and resilience testing.
Experience translating ambiguous business and sales commitments into deliverable technical scope (preferred).
Ability to represent the organization to senior internal and external stakeholders on technical matters (preferred).
