JOB TITLE: Sr Principal Infrastructure Architect - Infrastructure Platform As a Sr Principal Infrastructure Architect - Infrastructure Platform, you will provide specialized expertise to influence target state architecture and strategy within the Infrastructure Platforms team. You will design, govern, and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient architectural solutions for cross-domain business problems. Your daily responsibilities include leading the reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities, establishing architecture governance bodies, and translating complex technical trends to leadership. You must possess formal professional certifications in AWS and Google Cloud, along with extensive practical cloud-native experience. You will utilize programming languages and architecture disciplines to manage scaled-out infrastructure, such as high-volume trade processing. The role focuses on solving complex architecture problems across various technical disciplines while ensuring resiliency, security, and auditability in highly regulated environments.

What you'll do

  • Advise and lead the strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable architectural solutions for cross-domain business problems.
  • Lead the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and solution delivery.
  • Translate complex technical issues and trends to leadership to drive innovation and strategic decision-making.
  • Create durable, reusable software frameworks to improve development velocity and output quality across functions.
  • Establish and lead an architecture governance body to oversee technical standards.
  • Set portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted workflows regarding traceability, auditability, and security.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend solutions that achieve the firm's future state architecture.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of applied experience with at least 5 years in a Senior, Lead, or Principal Architect role.
  • Formal training and multiple professional-level certifications in AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Extensive practical cloud-native experience and deep hands-on expertise across hybrid multi-cloud environments (preferred).
  • Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities and governing AI-enabled architectural patterns.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing across functions to deliver modern architecture for significant scaled-out infrastructure.
  • Banking and financial services experience or relevant technology domain experience (preferred).
