The Sr Principal Info Systems Project Manager-20394 leads a multidisciplinary product team responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and sustainment of the enterprise project control tools application suite. This role supports the Sentinel Program by managing the coordination, configuration, and ongoing support of critical platforms including Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Oracle Project Integration Framework, and Riskonnect Active Risk Manager. The successful candidate will own the product vision, prioritize the backlog, and manage integrations between these tools and enterprise systems like ERPs and data warehouses. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from program leadership, overseeing release management, and defining KPIs for application performance. Required skills include experience with project controls disciplines such as scheduling, cost, change, and risk management, alongside proficiency in Agile practices and work tracking tools like Jira.
Lead a multidisciplinary team in the daily operation, coordination, and sustainment of the project controls application suite.
Own the product vision, roadmap, and release plan for the project controls ecosystem to align with business priorities.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT departments, and software vendors.
Define and prioritize the product backlog by balancing new capabilities, technical debt, and compliance requirements.
Partner with engineering teams to design and maintain robust integrations between P6, Unifier, Riskonnect ARM, and enterprise systems.
Translate requirements from program leadership into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Establish and report on KPIs for application performance, data quality, and user adoption.
Oversee release management activities including change planning, testing, deployment, and user communications.
What we're looking for
Must have 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6 years with a Master's, or 4 years with a PhD.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (SAP).
Must have experience managing teams supporting business-critical applications or products.
Must have experience with enterprise project controls or project management tools like Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or Riskonnect Active Risk Manager.
Must have a strong understanding of project management and project controls disciplines including schedule, cost, change, and risk.
Must have experience defining and executing a product roadmap, including requirements gathering, backlog management, and release planning.
Must have experience collaborating with IT/engineering teams on application integrations, upgrades, and sustainment activities.
Must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence across a matrixed organization.
