Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, CRM

What you'll do

• Design, integrate, and verify complex mixed-signal electronics for active implantable cardiac devices and external patient systems.
• Lead the development of high-reliability, safety-critical electronic components through all stages from concept to launch.
• Own specific hardware blocks including analog, digital, RF, and PCB layout architecture while managing associated requirements and documentation.
• Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulations, characterization, and design margin assessments for new product circuitry.
• Lead root-cause investigations and debug complex hardware/firmware interactions to provide robust design fixes.
• Develop test plans, automated evaluation frameworks, and verification strategies for both bench and system-level testing.
• Define production test requirements and collaborate with manufacturing engineering on PCB and device assembly processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence best practices in design rigor, simulation methodology, and technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• A Baccalaureate degree with 10 years of experience, a Master's with 8 years, or a PhD with 6 years is required.
• Experience in mixed-signal, analog, and digital electronics design for high-reliability or safety-critical applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in PCB design methodology, CAD tools, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Expertise in circuit simulation (PSPICE, LTspice) and RF design or performance evaluation is required.
• Experience with Class III medical device development, verification, and validation is required.
• Familiarity with applicable standards such as ISO 14708 and IEC 60601 is required.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW for test automation and data analysis is required.
