What you'll do

Develop solutions to national security threats involving kernel development and vulnerability research.
Perform reverse engineering on x86, x64, MIPS, PPC, or ARM architectures.
Conduct vulnerability analysis on network and communication systems.
Write kernel mode programs for Windows and Linux using C/C++ and Assembly.
Develop lower-level networking protocols including TCP/IP and UDP.
Use debugging and system analysis tools like Wireshark, IDAPro, and WinDBG.
Implement shell code and analyze return-oriented programming (ROP) concepts.
Manage software development life cycle (SDLC) tasks and configuration management.

What we're looking for

US Citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret clearance is required.
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8 years of programming experience.
M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6 years of programming experience.
Ph.D. and 4 years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated software programming experience in C/C++.
Experience with SDLC and software development including kernel mode, embedded, command and control, or network applications.
Experience with debugging or system analysis tools such as Wireshark, IDAPro, OllyDebug, WinDBG, or JTAG debuggers.
