The Sr Principal Cloud Architect joins the Emerge Labs team to architect, deploy, and support modern multi-cloud environments with a primary focus on AWS. Required technical skills include AWS Cloud Computing, Okta Identity Management, Terraform, Ansible, YAML, Microsoft AD, and Linux. You will also utilize Zscaler, VPCs, security groups, and Route53 to maintain secure, compliant cloud environments while solving complex infrastructure and identity federation problems for internal customers.

What you'll do

  • Architect, build, and support multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Okta and Identity management solutions.
  • Oversee the organization's certificate infrastructure and DNS management.
  • Deploy and manage AWS multi-tenant account structures including networking and security controls.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point to resolve complex technical issues for customers.
  • Validate and document cloud services to ensure they are fully functional and meet requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Must have 10+ years of related experience.
  • Must be a US Person.
  • Must have experience deploying and managing AWS multi-tenant environments using IaC such as Terraform and/or Ansible/YAML.
  • Must have experience with complex design and implementation of Okta/Identity federation solutions.
  • Must have hands-on experience with deploying Certificate Authority and managing DNS.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft AD server and Linux operating systems.
  • Must have a strong cloud networking background including Zscaler, routing, VPCs, security groups, and Route53.
  • Okta workflow automation experience is a plus (preferred).
