Senior Platform Software Engineer, AI & Data Platforms

What you'll do

• Design and build tools to automate database management tasks and performance tuning.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into configuration recommendations and workload-aware scheduling.
• Develop secure, versioned microservices that expose database lifecycle operations as APIs.
• Integrate database management automation into CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and canary rollouts.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and health-check systems to provide deep visibility into database health.
• Create self-healing mechanisms to detect and remediate known failure patterns automatically.
• Manage the full lifecycle of PostgreSQL database clusters including provisioning, scaling, and patching.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building highly available software services or platform infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining API-driven micro services.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, Kotlin, or C/C++.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience building and interacting with Cloud APIs such as AWS or GCP (preferred).
• Experience working with relational databases and a good understanding of PostgreSQL internals (preferred).
• Experience supporting PaaS or DBaaS at scale (preferred).
