Key skills required include experience with RF functional tests, high power electrical tests, ICT/bed-of-nails fixtures, Flying Probe testing, Linux scripting, and standard electronic lab equipment. Knowledge of space hardware test protocols (GEVS / SMC-S-016) and software tools like NI LabVIEW and TestStand is preferred. This role offers a hands-on environment where you will work both in the office and on-site at manufacturing partners to support Amazon Leo’s mission of developing reliable, high-performance satellite systems.

What you'll do

Develop and optimize test strategies, setups, and processes for Satellite PCBAs at CM sites.
Perform PCBA debug and root cause analysis to create runbooks and train technicians.
Continuously improve test systems, software, fixtures, and procedures with R&D teams.
Analyze data to identify failure trends and recommend improvements for tests and PCBAs.
Develop detailed operating procedures and documentation for test operators at CM sites.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Over 8 years of experience deploying and training on complex test systems.
Extensive experience integrating software and hardware systems.
Proficiency using standard electronic lab equipment for debugging PCBAs.
Ability to write detailed operating procedures and create deployment plans.
Experience with Linux scripting and established Space Hardware test processes.
Knowledge of test automation tools such as NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Python.
