Senior Manager, Product Management ROCm AI

What you'll do

• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the ROCm AI developer experience.
• Identify target personas and translate their specific pain points into prioritized product requirements and journeys.
• Validate product-market fit through customer discovery, telemetry data, community signals, and structured feedback.
• Manage product requirements and prioritization across various tools including ROCm CLI, Console, and agentic workflows.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to align component roadmaps and define release criteria.
• Define software compatibility policies, versioning strategies, and lifecycle requirements for ROCm AI components.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify ecosystem gaps and differentiation opportunities for AMD.
• Develop an ecosystem strategy to integrate ROCm AI with coding agents, CI/CD systems, and open-source projects.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
• Proven years of experience in technical product management, software strategy, developer tools, AI/ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms (preferred).
• Demonstrated ownership of a technical product from discovery and definition through launch and lifecycle management (preferred).
• Experience building products for developers, ML engineers, data scientists, or enterprise infrastructure operators (preferred).
• Strong understanding of AI development workflows, including model deployment, serving, diagnostics, and observability (preferred).
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, vLLM, or SGLang (preferred).
• Experience with command-line tools, SDKs, APIs, telemetry, and systems-management products (preferred).
• Experience with open-source software, Linux, containers, Kubernetes, or GPU software (preferred).
