Senior Manager, Merchant & Advertiser Data Marts

What you'll do

• Build and operate production data marts that power retail media, revenue attribution, and marketing measurements.
• Develop a data mart catalog to track ownership, SLOs, lineage, and PII classifications.
• Execute Hive to Iceberg migrations for high-value merchant and advertiser marts.
• Implement PII-masking, GDPR deletion propagation, and schema-change audit logs into reusable playbooks.
• Author and enforce access policies using Trino permissions and CloudSentry to steer consumers toward curated marts.
• Write migration code, dbt models, and Airflow DAGs to maintain the data platform substrate.
• Provide ongoing production support and participate in an on-call rotation for existing and future marts.
• Translate business needs from Sales, BizOps, and Analytics into technical platform requirements.

What we're looking for

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
• 10+ years of engineering experience and 5+ years building shared data platforms or lakehouse infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience leading a Hive to Iceberg migration at scale on a revenue-attached system.
• Experience building data catalogs, managing data-access governance (GDPR/CCPA/SOX), and shifting consumers to curated marts.
• Prior experience in a regulated data environment (financial services, healthcare, or equivalent).
• Claude Code fluency, cross-functional fluency, and prior merchant or retail-media data experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree.
