Senior Manager Merchant & Advertiser Data Marts

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data marts that power retail media, advertiser reporting, and revenue attribution.
• Develop a comprehensive data mart catalog including ownership, lineage, PII classification, and audit trails.
• Execute Hive to Iceberg migrations for high-value merchant and advertiser data systems.
• Implement and enforce access policies to steer users from raw event tables toward curated marts.
• Author dbt models and Airflow DAGs to manage large-scale data transformations and orchestrations.
• Manage production support and on-call rotations for all owned and newly developed data marts.
• Translate business requirements from Sales, BizOps, and Analytics teams into technical platform specifications.

What we're looking for

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
• 10+ years of engineering experience and 5+ years building shared data platforms or lakehouse infrastructure.
• Experience leading a Hive to Iceberg migration at scale on a revenue-attached system.
• Experience in data-access governance under regulated frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, or SOX.
• Claude Code fluency for daily use and skill authoring (required).
• Cross-functional fluency with Sales, BizOps, and Analytics teams (required).
• Prior merchant, advertiser, or retail-media data experience (preferred).
• Master's Degree (preferred).
• 9+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
• 1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred).
