As a Sr. Manager Healthcare Digital Product, you will join the Customer Implementation team to manage complex projects across multiple technology domains and applications. You will partner with product leadership to mature concepts from ideation through IT evaluation, develop technical strategies, and define Minimum Viable Products while providing cost estimates. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating release planning, resolving execution barriers, managing project interdependencies, and ensuring alignment with commercial delivery objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and external vendors to translate business goals into specific application needs. The role requires expertise in agile methodologies, payor needs support, and large-scale customer implementations. You will manage concurrent, time-bound projects while creating technical documentation and exploring new tools to solve complex problems involving structured and unstructured data within the healthcare sector.
Partner with Product Owners to mature product concepts and conduct IT evaluation exercises during the ideation phase.
Develop IT solutions, strategies, and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) while providing accurate cost estimates and guidance.
Coordinate release planning, oversee delivery milestones, and remove barriers to ensure successful project execution.
Proactively manage risks by creating contingency plans and executing corrective actions for scope or budget variances.
Translate business objectives into specific technical requirements for application development and system design.
Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation including system designs and workflow traceability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce overall project expenses across the portfolio.
Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to drive innovation within the engineering team.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Healthcare Business Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience with large customer implementation and maturing product concepts from initial stages through design and implementation.
8+ years of experience collaborating with external vendors to support various programs for Commercial Plan Sponsors.
5+ years of experience working with engineering and cross-functional teams to solve complex business or technical problems.
5+ years of experience using agile methodologies.
5+ years of experience managing Payor needs and support.
4+ years of experience independently managing deliverables.
