What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software solutions for credit technology products.
Build and maintain AI-native systems to expand eTrading capabilities and modernize legacy platforms.
Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Architect and write secure, high-quality production code using Python and Java.
Engage directly with Credit Sales and Trading partners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system stability and operational performance.
Lead evaluations of external vendors and internal technologies to assess architectural fit and applicability.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of emerging technologies across software engineering teams.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability using Python and Java.
Hands-on experience with AI components and a strong understanding of their application in modern technology stacks.
Foundational understanding of cloud services, AWS best practices, and practical cloud-native experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience building scalable AI platforms for trading or financial services (preferred).
Experience modernizing legacy systems with AI tooling (preferred).
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems (preferred).
Experience supporting production systems in partnership with L1 support teams (preferred).
