What you'll do

Drive adoption and governance of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish measurable validation standards for AI-assisted workflows, including human-in-the-loop review and secure handling of sensitive data.
Champion application health standards by building new applications in a secure, resilient, and well-architected state from inception.
Lead technical lifecycle management to identify and remediate aging components, deprecated dependencies, and systemic vulnerabilities.
Partner with architecture and security teams to embed secure-by-design principles into development workflows and compliance expectations.
Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards and toolchain automation to reduce manual toil and improve auditability.
Mentor and coach engineers on application health, AI-enabled development, and technical lifecycle practices to elevate team capability.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Expertise in building and maintaining secure, production-grade applications with a focus on vulnerability management and technical debt reduction.
Hands-on experience with technical lifecycle management, including application modernization and proactive risk identification.
Experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and setting expectations for validating AI outputs.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline automation, automated testing strategies, secure coding standards, and peer review processes.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment.
Experience with agentic AI coding platforms, application health frameworks, or cloud-native development (preferred).
