Senior Lead Software Engineer, AI/ML Platform

What you'll do

• Drive the architectural vision for control plane integration, multi-region deployment, and disaster recovery.
• Design and implement APIs for retraining, scheduling, endpoint deployment, and autoscaling.
• Build infrastructure for seamless integration across the control plane and client accounts.
• Engage directly with US-based clients to gather requirements, provide strategic solutions, and debug issues.
• Make independent architectural decisions and own technical tradeoffs with minimal oversight.
• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors to support technical goals.
• Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices and measurable validation standards.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve the value of automation at scale.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Industry experience as a platform engineer leading large-scale platform infrastructure delivery.
• Deep AWS expertise in networking, scalability, multi-account architectures, and security.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Golang or Python.
• Advanced Terraform and HCL skills including module design and multi-region delivery.
• Production experience with Kubernetes or EKS at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Sagemaker for model deployments and inference.
• Strong DevOps background with complex CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with LLM model benchmarking, evaluation, and performance optimization (preferred).
• Security expertise including threat modelling and secure infrastructure design (preferred).
• Industry-recognized certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer (preferred).
