JOB TITLE: Sr. IT Systems Administrator, IT Applications
As a Sr. IT Systems Administrator, you will serve as a technical leader and Subject Matter Expert for collaborative platforms, specifically the Atlassian suite including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. You will design, build, and support RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and webhooks to connect SaaS tools, CRM, ERP, and billing systems. Your daily work involves architecting complex integrations, managing data transformation, and implementing real-time synchronization across large, clustered Linux environments. You will identify automation opportunities, manage complex workflows, and lead application upgrades while ensuring security through OAuth and API keys. The role requires proficiency in scripting languages like Groovy, Python, or Java, as well as SQL and ScriptRunner, to solve technical problems and improve organizational efficiency.

What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline and 3+ years of experience managing applications in large enterprise environments.
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing applications in large enterprise environments in lieu of a degree.
Experience designing and implementing API integrations using REST, GraphQL, and webhooks.
Experience with scripting in Groovy, Python, or Java.
Strong experience with SQL, especially with ScriptRunner (preferred).
Strong experience upgrading Atlassian applications in a large, clustered Linux production environment (preferred).
Experience integrating Atlassian tools with CRM, ERP, or billing platforms and migrating data between platforms (preferred).
