Enterprise Apps Engineer II

What you'll do

• Architect, configure, and optimize Atlassian Cloud platforms including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
• Design complex workflows, automation rules, custom fields, and permission schemes to support diverse business processes.
• Develop advanced automation solutions using Jira Automation, REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting to reduce manual effort.
• Lead integration projects connecting Atlassian platforms with identity providers, development tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks including project templates, naming conventions, and data retention policies.
• Administer and manage a wide variety of SaaS applications including Zoom, Slack, Okta, and Microsoft 365.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex SaaS issues and mentor junior team members.
• Create training programs, runbooks, and technical documentation for administrators and end users.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise SaaS applications with at least 3 years focused on the Atlassian platform.
• Expert-level administration of Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management, including workflows, schemes, and JQL.
• Hands-on experience administering Zoom, Slack, Okta, and Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with Atlassian REST APIs, identity management (SAML, OAuth), and automation tools like Jira Automation.
• Experience with ITSM processes and knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities to build custom solutions and reduce manual effort.
• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-600, ACP-620) (preferred).
