What you'll do

Manage multiple system security plans for development, test, and production systems following the Risk Management Framework.
Validate and verify system security requirements and establish security designs for large-scale, geographically distributed networks.
Identify and implement information security architectures to ensure uniform application of security policies and enterprise solutions.
Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the entire program life cycle.
Plan and conduct security verification testing for relevant Type 1 devices.
Audit and assess system security configuration settings using common methodologies and tools like Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark.
Formulate security compliance requirements for new system features and provide configuration management for security-relevant software.
Work with development teams to identify vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation approaches.

What we're looking for

Must have an active TS/SCI Polygraph.
Must have a BS degree.
Must have 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience.
Must have a solid understanding of security practices and policies and hands-on vulnerability testing experience.
Must have experience applying Risk Management Framework.
Must have experience formulating and assessing IT security policy.
Must have experience with common security tools like Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark, and knowledge of encryption and web services.
Must have experience with secure configurations of commonly used desktop and server operating systems.
Must have experience with Defense in Depth principles and applying risk assessment methodology to system development (preferred).
Must have DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or 3 (preferred).
Must have Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) Certification (preferred).
Must have Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification (preferred).
Must have experience with penetration testing tools and scripting languages (preferred).
