The Senior ISSE TS/SCI Polygraph joins the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area to support a complex program using the Scaled Agile Framework and DEVOPS best practices. This role involves enhancing system security architecture, managing multiple system security plans following the Risk Management Framework, and supporting Security Verification Testing for Type 1 devices. You will validate security requirements for large-scale, geographically distributed networks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement information security architectures. Key responsibilities include assessing threats throughout the program life cycle, auditing configurations, and providing configuration management for security-relevant software. Required skills include hands-on experience with Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark, as well as knowledge of encryption techniques, web services, and secure configurations for desktop and server operating systems. You will solve challenging issues within a high-performing agile team.
Manage multiple system security plans for development, test, and production systems following the Risk Management Framework.
Validate and verify system security requirements and establish security designs for large-scale, geographically distributed networks.
Identify and implement information security architectures to ensure uniform application of security policies and enterprise solutions.
Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the entire program life cycle.
Plan and conduct security verification testing for relevant Type 1 devices.
Audit and assess system security configuration settings using common methodologies and tools like Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark.
Formulate security compliance requirements for new system features and provide configuration management for security-relevant software.
Provide technical advice to program managers and customer experts as a subject matter expert in security architecture.
What we're looking for
Must have an active TS/SCI Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
Must have a solid understanding of security practices, policies, and hands-on vulnerability testing experience.
Must have experience applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) and formulating/assessing IT security policy.
Must have experience with common security tools (Nessus, NMAP, Wireshark), hardware/software security, encryption, and web services.
Must have experience with secure configurations of commonly used desktop and server operating systems.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Five years of experience with Defense in Depth principles and risk assessment methodology (preferred); DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or 3 (preferred); ISSEP or CISSP certification (preferred).
