The Sr. Full-Stack AI Software Development Engineer joins the AI Platform Solutions Group within TPG to design and deliver next-generation, AI-native applications. This role involves building intelligent, scalable systems that integrate large language models, retrieval-augmented systems, and agentic workflow orchestration into engineering-critical applications. You will own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, translating complex business challenges into high-performance solutions using modern front-end frameworks, APIs, and backend services. Key technical requirements include experience with microservices, MCP/REST API-driven design, cloud-native development, and performance optimization. You will specifically work on task decomposition, tool chaining, and context-aware decision systems to drive productivity. The work focuses on creating reusable platforms that leverage autonomous agents and responsible AI principles to enhance business processes and developer workflows across the global enterprise.
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications including front-end frameworks, APIs, and backend services.
Integrate large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) into engineering-critical applications.
Architect and orchestrate autonomous software agents to execute multi-step, complex workflows.
Translate complex business challenges into scalable technical designs and high-performance software solutions.
Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
Implement AI-driven workflows such as task decomposition, tool chaining, and context-aware decision systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system defects to minimize downtime and performance degradation.
Ensure software adheres to responsible AI principles, including model evaluation and safe deployment practices.
What we're looking for
Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern front-end frameworks, APIs, and backend services.
Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Demonstrate a strong foundation in modern application architecture such as microservices, MCP/REST API-driven design, and cloud-native development.
Apply experience with performance optimization, observability, and reliability engineering practices.
Practical experience or solid grounding in integrating AI/ML capabilities, including large language models and advanced inference services (preferred).
Familiarity with agentic architectures, including designing and orchestrating autonomous software agents that can reason and plan (preferred).
Experience building AI-driven workflows such as task decomposition, tool chaining, and retrieval-augmented generation (preferred).
