Sr. Engineering Program Manager, Apple Cloud Network joins the Network Infrastructure team to drive critical cloud network programs and ensure timely service delivery. The manager will coordinate with multi-functional teams to align goals, track milestones, and manage risks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate possesses technical savvy in the networking domain, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure projects. Required skills include proficiency in MacOS, iPad OS, iOS, and tools like MS Office or Wrike. This role solves complex problems within cloud infrastructure to support essential services like iCloud, iTunes, Siri, and Maps for a global user base.
Drive cloud network program schedules and resolve technical issues to ensure timely service delivery.
Coordinate with multi-functional teams to align broad programs and manage stakeholder expectations.
Establish program management disciplines for tracking commitments, milestones, and priority handling.
Identify and mitigate risks while managing changes in a fast-paced environment.
Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and prioritize features for cloud infrastructure projects.
Lead requirements sessions, design meetings, and progress status meetings to facilitate project goals.
Communicate program risks, statuses, and next steps clearly to all levels of the organization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements across networking programs.
What we're looking for
Proven skill in presenting to all levels of an organization.
Deep experience in software development project/program management, including end-to-end delivery and building roadmaps through to operational sustainability.
Strong facilitation skills for requirements sessions, design meetings, and progress or status meetings.
Experience in ongoing process improvement.
Ability to assess and mitigate risk, manage change, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MacOS, iPad OS, iOS, and common collaboration tools like MS Office or Wrike.
10+ years of experience in software development project management for Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure domains (preferred).
Experience leading Cloud Infrastructure programs, the networking domain, and large-scale infrastructure projects (preferred).
