As a Sr Engineering Manager in the SNAAP (Security, Network, Access & Automation Platform) team at Technology Infrastructure, you will lead the Network Engineering group responsible for designing and operating an enterprise network platform spanning 400+ retail stores, fulfillment centers, and distribution centers. Your daily responsibilities include leading stand-ups, reviewing architectural designs, driving incident response, conducting 1:1 meetings with team members, and collaborating on network automation initiatives. You will work closely with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams to define the roadmap for SD-WAN expansion, cloud connectivity strategy, and wireless modernization. The ideal candidate has over a decade of hands-on experience in complex enterprise and cloud networks, including expertise in SD-WAN technologies like Versa Networks, cloud networking across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, and data center network fabrics. Strong knowledge of routing protocols, WAN technologies, QoS policies, and observability tools is required, along with a proven track record in building high-performing engineering teams.

What you'll do

Lead daily stand-ups and sprint planning to clear blockers and align priorities across network domains.
Review and approve architectural designs for new network solutions, including SD-WAN policy changes and cloud topology updates.
Own incident response for network-impacting events, directing engineers and driving resolution during major incidents.
Conduct 1:1 meetings with team members to provide coaching, discuss career development, and support technical problem-solving.
Analyze network performance data to optimize routing policies, bandwidth utilization, and cloud egress costs while maintaining SLAs.

What we're looking for

10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in both on-premises and cloud environments
Proven expertise in SD-WAN technologies, including Versa Networks or comparable platforms
Strong understanding of multi-cloud networking across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
Demonstrated experience with enterprise wired/wireless networking using Juniper EX/QFX switching and Mist AI wireless
Deep knowledge of data center network fabrics, VXLAN/EVPN design, BGP, and multi-tenant overlay architectures
Track record of owning incident response in complex environments, producing rigorous RCAs, and driving remediation
Familiarity with network automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python/NAPALM, and GitOps workflows
