Senior Engineer - Agentic Data Platform

What you'll do

• Design and build software for the Agent Fetch platform and broader agentic data infrastructure.
• Develop capabilities for agent orchestration, data access, and semantic models.
• Build systems that allow users and agents to interact with governed business metrics safely.
• Implement evaluation and observability frameworks for LLM and agent-based systems.
• Manage metadata, lineage, and data governance within analytical data systems.
• Integrate structured tool interfaces and manage retrieval and context for AI applications.
• Develop distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and APIs for platform engineering.
• Implement security and authorization patterns for data-enabled applications.

What we're looking for

• A 4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines or equivalent industry experience is required.
• An MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting software applications or platform services are required.
• Proficiency in Python or Java with the ability to learn additional languages and frameworks is required.
• Experience with AI agents, LLM applications, tool use, planning, or multi-step agent workflows is required.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, evaluation, and observability for LLM-based systems is required.
• Experience with data platforms, analytical data systems, metadata, lineage, or data governance is required.
• Experience with semantic layers, governed metrics, LookML, Power BI, dbt, or similar technologies is required.
