This role involves building a TPM practice for Personal and Corporate Liability Cards while mentoring a high-performance team of technical program managers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in building scalable platforms, distributed systems, and highly available services using AWS and cloud computing architecture. Core competencies include Agile delivery, quantitative problem solving, and experience managing complex programs within highly regulated environments to power real-time, intelligent experiences for customers and associates.

What you'll do

Lead key initiatives to integrate Brex B2B software into the Capital One ecosystem.
Build and establish a Technical Program Management practice for the Business Cards and Payments domain.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of TPM leaders focused on technical excellence.
Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life-cycle of large-scale products.
Provide technical insights and recommendations to senior leadership to guide technology-based decisions.
Simplify complex technical concepts to drive informed decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science teams.
Manage the delivery of large, complex programs within a highly regulated environment.

What we're looking for

At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs.
Strong technical background in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services.
Experience building and leading a world-class team of technical program managers.
Ability to lead technology-focused discussions with senior leadership and provide strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
9+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing (preferred).
5+ years of experience in building distributed systems, cloud architecture, mobile products, Agile delivery, or large complex programs (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree.
