Senior Director, Enterprise Data

What you'll do

• Design and execute a scalable data platform roadmap to handle high volumes of enterprise data.
• Transition legacy infrastructure into a modern, decoupled architecture with real-time event streaming capabilities.
• Implement a "Data as a Product" model with strict service level objectives and high discoverability.
• Build an integrated multi-domain Master Data Management hub for customers, products, and vendors.
• Establish a federated data governance model and automated tools for lineage, cataloging, and quality testing.
• Ensure the platform complies with global regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, and SOX through robust security protocols.
• Scale and lead a high-performing team of engineers, architects, and data governance managers.
• Integrate software engineering rigor into data workflows using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in data engineering, architecture, or enterprise data management.
• Experience working within a B2B environment at a $1 billion to $5 billion+ revenue scale.
• Proficiency with modern cloud data stacks and enterprise MDM platforms.
• Proven success leading complex corporate data migrations or large-scale MDM implementations across multiple business units.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value and ROI for C-suite executives.
• Minimum of 5 years managing manager-level and architect-level direct reports.
• Experience in high-growth environments with frequent M&A activity (preferred).
• Expertise in Data Mesh, federated architecture, or integrating AI/ML infrastructure (preferred).
