Senior Data Scientist, Process Modeling

What you'll do

• Lead the implementation of digital technologies in tech-transfer and process-modeling.
• Own digital product development for expanding digital process-modeling applications.
• Manage change to integrate new digital applications into existing product teams.
• Develop data products enabling FAIR principles for technology transfer/new product introduction.
• Enable AI-driven workflows for drug substance technology modeling assets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance process design and efficiency.
• Provide business recommendations through cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.

What we're looking for

• Doctorate degree or equivalent experience in data science or engineering.
• 3+ years of work experience in biotechnology roles such as process engineer, scientist, or data scientist.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and AI tools like Databricks, Python, SQL, Chat GPT.
• Ability to develop AI applications for process development workflows and integrate them into business processes.
• Demonstrated capability in applying digital tools to solve analytical problems and making business recommendations.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to various levels of stakeholders effectively.
