What you'll do

  • Design, build, and optimize high-throughput data ingestion pipelines for large-scale advertising data.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and observability across distributed systems.
  • Lead architectural decisions for unified ingestion frameworks across multiple platforms.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based microservices for real-time and batch ingestion.
  • Author and review technical design documents for complex distributed systems.
  • Mentor engineers and drive best practices in system design and performance tuning.
  • Manage data quality, consistency, and traceability across various ingestion layers.
  • Optimize ingestion patterns to support analytics-ready data models in Snowflake.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience building data pipelines or distributed backend systems using Python.
  • Proficiency in Python and microservices-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with distributed data systems such as Snowflake or Spark.
  • Proficiency in SQL querying.
  • Proven ability to lead design discussions and influence architectural decisions.
