Senior Data & Analytics Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines for battery test, manufacturing, laboratory, and production systems.
• Build unified data models connecting components like cells, PCBAs, battery packs, and quality records.
• Establish end-to-end product traceability across serial numbers, hardware revisions, and equipment calibration status.
• Develop automated ingestion, transformation, and validation processes for test systems, manufacturing equipment, and APIs.
• Create engineering analytics, dashboards, and tools to monitor production trends and failure investigations.
• Automate reporting workflows that convert raw test data into actionable engineering metrics and insights.
• Establish data quality standards, lineage, metadata, and schema designs to ensure data reliability.
• Develop reusable APIs and libraries to help engineering teams access and analyze battery data efficiently.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one language and strong SQL skills.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience developing scalable data pipelines, databases, data models, APIs, or engineering data platforms.
• Experience with AWS technologies, high-volume time-series data, or complex manufacturing environments (preferred).
