What you'll do

Develop data products, infrastructure, and ETL pipelines to ingest and transform geospatial datasets using AWS big data technologies.
Design data models for Business Intelligence Engineers and Scientists to extract business insights and build ML models.
Improve existing solutions and design next-generation data architecture to enhance scale, quality, and performance.
Implement data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with security regulations.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate the generation of structured datasets for forecasting and system inputs.
Build and manage a data dictionary, catalog, and governance plan for all registered data.
Provide technical guidance to data consumers on how to leverage Global Planning data assets.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of data engineering experience.
3+ years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
1+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes.
1+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using OLAP technologies.
1+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling.
1+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using SQL.
1+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using Oracle.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum due to export control laws.
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles (preferred).
Experience with non-relational databases or data stores (preferred).
