What you'll do

  • Perform software verification and validation activities for Gulfstream aircraft certification.
  • Develop software for complex performance calculations and control law systems.
  • Execute Model Based Development projects within the Flight Sciences department.
  • Create software automation and tooling to improve engineering processes.
  • Support resource planning and allocation using MS Project or similar tools.
  • Perform data analysis to support project planning and decision-making.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in aerospace, software, systems engineering, or a related field.
  • Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date.
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher without rounding.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Familiarity with Matlab (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Simulink (preferred).
  • Experience with programming and/or scripting (preferred).
  • Relevant coursework in Control Theory, Flight Dynamics, Flight Controls, Aircraft Performance, or Flight Planning (preferred).
