What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain engine cycle simulation models.
  • Perform off-design engine performance analyses and trade studies.
  • Analyze engine and aircraft performance data to evaluate system behavior.
  • Conduct studies regarding fuel consumption, thrust performance, and mission analysis.
  • Validate analytical models using available test or flight data.
  • Document engineering methods, assumptions, and analysis results for technical use.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date.
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher without rounding, which must be listed on the resume.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester with reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Preferred coursework includes Aircraft Propulsion, Gas Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Turbomachinery, Thermodynamics, Numerical Methods, Compressible Flow, CFD, and FEA (preferred).
  • Desired tools include NPSS, AxSTREAM, MATLAB/Simulink, Excel/VBA, and Python (preferred).
  • Experience with coding or automation tools is a plus (preferred).
