Spot RWA Calculation and Analysis Senior Analyst AVP

What you'll do

• Analyze and submit Basel RWA reports in accordance with US regulatory requirements.
• Apply Basel III expertise to evaluate new products, business initiatives, and evolving regulations.
• Identify discrepancies in RWA outputs and resolve inquiries from regulators and internal lines of business.
• Partner with Risk and Controls teams to maintain and strengthen the internal controls framework for capital reporting.
• Evaluate data architecture and reporting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory rules.
• Resolve data conflicts and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
• Translate complex regulatory concepts into actionable insights for senior leadership and non-specialist audiences.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (preferred).
• 3-6 years of experience in financial services with a focus on regulatory reporting and capital calculation in a banking environment.
• Knowledge of Basel III capital rules and RWA calculation methodologies for regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data conflicts and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly to senior and non-specialist audiences.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and validation (preferred).
• Experience with change management, program management, or MIS tools in a regulatory context (preferred).
