Specialist, Test Engineering - Software

What you'll do

• Design automated test systems with multi-unit capabilities, fault detection, and reporting features.
• Develop and program embedded systems using Linux, FPGAs, and CPLDs.
• Create automated test solutions using LabVIEW, Test Stand, Python, and C++.
• Execute and document test plans and procedures for components, subsystems, and full assemblies.
• Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and isolate RF performance issues at the board, module, and system levels.
• Support design verification and validation for transmitters, receivers, encryptors, and amplifiers.
• Transition test methods from development phases into manufacturing and production environments.

What we're looking for

• A Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, a Graduate degree and 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience designing, integrating, and programming embedded systems involving Linux, FPGAs, and CPLDs.
• Proficiency in developing automated test solutions using LabVIEW, Test Stand, Python, and C++.
• Ability to operate RF equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with RF integration, digital logic, differential communication protocols, and encryption systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with RF/microwave principles, S-parameters, and hardware such as filters, amplifiers, and attenuators (preferred).
