Specialist, Test Engineering - Software

What you'll do

• Design automated test systems with multi-unit capabilities, fault detection, and reporting features.
• Develop and program embedded systems using Linux, FPGAs, and CPLDs.
• Create automated test solutions using LabVIEW, Test Stand, Python, and C++.
• Execute and document test plans and procedures for components, subsystems, and full assemblies.
• Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and isolate RF performance issues at the board, module, and system levels.
• Support design verification and validation testing for transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers.
• Transition test methods from development phases into manufacturing and production environments.

What we're looking for

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with RF test, integration, hardware components (filters, amplifiers), and common lab instrumentation (preferred).
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, LabVIEW, and Test Stand (preferred).
• Experience with embedded systems involving Linux, FPGAs, CPLDs, VHDL, and development boards like ZYNQs (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
