What you'll do

  • Manage the planning, implementation, and operational management of global COMSATCOM communications systems.
  • Coordinate transmission management and control for all commercial frequency spectrums and SATCOM systems.
  • Perform technical analysis to support DOD COMSATCOM operations, management, and control activities.
  • Enter and maintain technical data in tools such as SDB-MT, JSMPS, and JIST.
  • Monitor constellation health and welfare to mitigate and resolve satellite anomalies or interference.
  • Review and revise plans, policies, and documentation to account for future satellite payload requirements.
  • Maintain content on the CFSCC SPACE SATCOM website and provide subject matter expertise.

What we're looking for

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • One year of relevant experience or education in communication principles and SATCOM theory.
  • Three years of operational experience with Commercial or Military SATCOM systems.
  • One year of experience with SATCOM apportionment planning and allocation processes (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
