What you'll do

Create and update tickets in DISA applications to track and resolve customer network problems.
Monitor network events and element management failures in a 24x7x365 real-time environment.
Configure and support IP network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment.
Configure and issue option, boot, and RSP files for IP satellite modems.
Remotely manage customer access to IP and SATCOM networks.
Troubleshoot and resolve SATCOM and IP network issues with DoD Gateway facilities and deployed operators.
Verify that all equipment is operating within the established baseline configuration.
Provide global equipment configurations at DoD SATCOM Gateways using SAA and GAA authorizations.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification, such as Security+ CE, at the start date.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must have 2-4 years of experience.
Must have the ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment.
Must have moderate experience with one or more of the following: SAA/GAA documentation, MILSATCOM encryption devices, or SATCOM architecture.
Must have the ability to manage IP over SATCOM networks using iDirect/Linkway/EBEM or equivalent FM-TDMA hubs.
