Specialist, Systems Administration

What you'll do

• Administer Active Directory services including user objects, security groups, and account lifecycle activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects to enforce security posture and standardized system configurations.
• Maintain core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Sites and Services.
• Build, patch, and harden physical and virtual Windows Server systems according to security baselines.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments for provisioning and maintaining Windows-based virtual compute resources.
• Execute vulnerability remediation and OS patching using SCCM and WSUS tools.
• Perform STIG hardening activities to ensure compliance with secure baseline configurations.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and technical documentation to automate tasks and improve operational consistency.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience, Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments in an enterprise domain.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP in a production environment.
• Experience with server patching, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance-driven maintenance activities.
• Experience supporting STIG hardening, secure configuration baselines, or comparable compliance requirements (preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting Windows server, workstation, policy, and authentication-related issues in an operational environment (preferred).
• Experience supporting VMware vSphere, SCCM, WSUS, Microsoft PKI, or using PowerShell for automation (preferred).
